Line Support Technician

My client, a Galway based Medical Device organisation, are looking to hire a new Line Support Technician / Production Supervisor.

This role will suit someone who is comfortable with being on the production floor, working closely with operators and directly engaging with the medical device manufacturing process.

This is a permanent role based on-site in Galway City, day shift.

Responsibilities

• Oversee workstation and production line performance to ensure efficiency.
• Evaluate daily operations and implement improvements for smoother workflow.
• Keep training records up to date and assist new hires with onboarding.
• Conduct regular workstation audits to ensure compliance with standards.
• Review both approved and rejected products to maintain quality control.
• Identify and report issues causing delays, taking prompt corrective action.
• Engage with operators to troubleshoot problems and introduce process improvements.
• Work with Engineering and Production teams on new product introductions.

Requirements

• Experience in medical device manufacturing/cleanroom environment
• Knowledge of catheters and stents is essential.
• A Kaizen mindset is an advanctage
