SCADA Networks Engineer

A Northern Ireland-based organisation in the infrastructure sector is looking to add to its Operational Technology (OT) team. This role will focus on programming, configuring, and managing PLC and SCADA systems, as well as smart network configurations.

What You'll Do:

• Develop and program PLCs, primarily using widely used platforms

• Configure SCADA systems and support integration with industrial networks

• Set up and manage smart systems and networked devices

• Work on Ethernet and fibre-based communication systems across sites

What You'll Need:

• Degree in electrical, electronic, computing or related discipline

• Hands-on experience with PLC programming

• Solid analytical and troubleshooting skills

• Valid driver's licence

Useful Experience (not essential):

• Exposure to SCADA configuration or related software platforms

• Understanding of IP-based network systems

• Familiarity with commonly used industrial control equipment

• Background in electrical systems or industrial automation

• Professional membership of a recognised engineering institution
