General Operative

Job Summary:

We are looking for a hardworking and reliable General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a variety of manual and operational tasks to support the efficient running of the business. This role requires flexibility, attention to detail, and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general manual labour tasks, including lifting, moving, and handling materials or products.
• Operate tools, machinery, or equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the work area.
• Assist in loading and unloading deliveries.
• Follow company procedures and health & safety regulations at all times.
• Support different departments with various operational tasks as needed.
• Conduct routine quality checks on materials or products.
• Work effectively as part of a team to meet production or operational targets.
• Report any issues, hazards, or defects to the supervisor.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential.
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting and standing for long periods.
• Strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
• Awareness of health and safety practices.
• Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, or weekends if required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
