HR Generalist - Manufacturing Site

Location: Derry, Waterside area.

Travel: Up to 10% (within Ireland)

Overview:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a HR Generalist to join a growing manufacturing organisation. The successful candidate will provide hands-on HR support to operational management, with a strong focus on workforce planning, employee data accuracy, and compliance. This is a vital role within the HR team, supporting business-critical operations across multiple locations in Ireland.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate and analyse people data reports using HR and business systems to support decision-making.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records and systems.

• Provide expert HR guidance to managers and employees in line with employment law and internal policies.

• Support the rollout of new HR systems and drive engagement with change initiatives.

• Partner with managers to drive performance, engagement, and career development.

• Ensure HR policies and procedures are implemented and followed across the site.

• Coordinate hiring activity with recruitment partners and hiring managers.

• Assist with resolving employee relations matters swiftly and professionally.

• Manage general HR administration, including accurate personnel file management.

• Provide payroll data accurately and on time for monthly processing.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 3 years' experience in a generalist HR role, ideally in a fast-paced environment.

• Degree in Human Resources or a related field (desirable).

• Proficient in HR systems (Oracle HCM or similar preferred).

• Strong IT and reporting skills (Excel, Word, HR databases).

• Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills.

• Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting and following H&S guidelines.

Additional Info:

• This role involves regular presence on the production floor and may require the use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

• Occasional travel to other sites across Ireland (up to 10%) is required.
