Salary: £13.97 per hour (1-12 weeks) | £16.37 per hour (13 weeks+)
Location: Coleraine
Hours: 37 hours per week (9am-5pm, Monday to Friday)
Contract Type: Temporary/Ongoing

The Role
We are seeking a Finance and Administrative Officer to support the PEACEPLUS Programme within Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council. This role involves managing financial processes, project budgets, and administrative duties to ensure compliance with SEUPB regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial procedures for the PEACEPLUS Programme in line with SEUPB guidelines
- Manage administrative processes, including meetings, reports, and documentation
- Oversee procurement, delivery agent assessments, and Letter of Offer drafting
- Carry out verification checks on project claims for compliance
- Process invoices and claims, ensuring accuracy and adherence to funding requirements
- Liaise with SEUPB and the Council's Finance Department for claims, payments, and audits
- Monitor project expenditure, identify variances, and support financial reporting
- Assist in project monitoring, evaluation, and compliance reporting
- Maintain accurate records and file management systems
What You Need
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of one A Level (A-C), NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
- Three years' experience in at least two of the following areas:
- Processing and verification of grant-funded project claims
- Management information reporting
- Financial information collation and presentation
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car
Desirable Knowledge:
- Understanding of financial management systems and processes
- Experience with grant funding systems and EU funding regulations
