Electrician

Location: Various locations across NI

Hours of work: Mon - Thur, 8.30 - 4.30pm / Friday, 8.30 - 4.30pm (37 hours p/w)

Salary: £15.70 p/h

Duration: Temporary ongoing

About the Role

Our Client is seeking a skilled Electrician to join their team. You will play a key role in electrical maintenance, fault-finding, diagnostics, and health & safety testing in client properties, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance, refurbishment, and response repairs.
  • Conduct inspections, safety testing, and smoke alarm checks.
  • Deliver excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Accurately complete job records via paperwork and electronic devices.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations, including PPE use.
  • Participate in emergency call-out service (rota basis).

Essential Criteria:

  • Time-served or skills-based electrical apprenticeship.
  • At least one year of post-apprenticeship experience in property improvement or maintenance.
  • Level 3 certificate in Electrical Installation (C&G 2382-18, 18th Edition) or willingness to achieve within 9 months.
  • C&G 2391 or 2394/2395 in electrical testing & inspection (or willingness to obtain within 9 months).
  • Registered on a recognised license to practice scheme (or willing to register within 9 months).
  • Practical knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in maintenance/repair.
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus, and record-keeping ability.
  • Full UK driving licence.
