Job Title: Business Analyst (Public Sector) - Belfast - £18.10/hr
Location: Belfast
Hours: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (37.5 hours per week)
Pay: £18.10 per hour
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary

Role Overview
We are recruiting an experienced Business Analyst to support a leading public sector organisation in Belfast. This role involves analysing complex business processes, developing strategies, and supporting key IT and data-driven initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert analysis of business workflows, data collection, and reporting processes
- Lead the documentation of business and functional requirements aligned with best practices
- Work with stakeholders to present complex information in a clear, structured format
- Assist with process design, system testing, data management, and reporting
- Develop and manage project plans to meet critical deadlines
- Organise and lead meetings with senior stakeholders to address workflow concerns
- Ensure compliance with programme changes and governance
- Develop and deliver training materials for clinical and non-clinical stakeholders
- Support business readiness activities, including communications and system enhancements
Essential Criteria
- Degree/HND with two years of relevant experience in an IT Business Analyst role (50+ users) OR five years of relevant experience in a similar role
- Three years' experience in an ICT Business Analyst role
- Strong knowledge of business analysis principles and ability to create detailed technical documentation
- Experience working with multiple stakeholders to deliver successful projects
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical details to non-technical audiences
- Understanding of project management methodologies
Desirable Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to analyse and manipulate business intelligence data
- Experience delivering presentations and training
