Job Title: Cardiac Radiographer (Public Sector) - Belfast - £18.10/hr

Location: Belfast
Start Date: March 2025
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM
Contract: Full-Time, Temporary (initial 3-month contract)
Pay: £18.10 per hour

Role Overview

We are recruiting a Cardiac Radiographer to assist in the delivery of interventional cardiology procedures. This role involves working as part of a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality patient care and imaging services. A four-week evaluation period will assess suitability before continuing the contract.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in interventional cardiology procedures and imaging services
  • Support resource coordination within the department
  • Participate in staff training and identify development needs
  • Ensure effective radiation protection and safety procedures
  • Engage in quality assurance and service improvement initiatives
  • Provide input into operational policies and strategic planning
  • Participate in on-call or shift work as required

Essential Criteria

  • Qualifications: BSc (Hons) in Diagnostic Radiography
  • Registration: HCPC registered at the time of appointment
  • Experience: Minimum 12 months recent radiographic experience in a hospital with modern imaging technology
  • Skills:
    • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
    • Ability to work under pressure and take initiative
    • Commitment to ongoing professional development
    • Basic computer literacy

Desirable Criteria (Advantageous but not required)

  • Experience in interventional imaging
  • Interest in technological advancements in radiography
  • Organisational and leadership abilities
