Equipment Engineer

My client, a Galway based Medical Device organisation, are looking to hire a new Equipment Engineer.

This role will suit someone from a maintenance background in the automation sector.

This is a permanent role based on-site in Galway City.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to equipment performance
• Preventative maintenance to minimize equipment downtime
• Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on machinery
• Installations of equipment is executed correctly
• Support and train technicians, to share best practices
• Lead root cause analysis and failure mode and effects analysis
• Delivery of equipment to production

Requirements

• Honour's degree required in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
• 2+ years experience in equipment maintenance management, Med Device is desirable.
