Manufacturing Production Technician

Staffline Recruitment are working in partnership with a local growing company based in Ballymoney for Manufacturing Production Technicians to join their existing team.

Successful candidates will work 7am - 5pm Monday to Thursday with the possibility of overtime on a Thursday morning.

Rate of pay is £12.00 per hour

Main Responsibiltiies:

• To assemble parts to standards specified in engineering drawings.
• To plan and lay out work to meet production and schedule requirements.
• To test products or sub-assemblies for functionality and quality.
• Use hand tools for a variety of activities.
• Troubleshooting problems using appropriate equipment.
• Ensuring work areas are maintained and kept clean.
• To work as part of a team as well as on own initiative.

It would also be great if the candidate had:

• A willingness to work additional hours as needed during busy periods
• A working knowledge of electrical and hydraulic systems
• experience in the use of machine tools (e.g. lathe, bandsaw, etc)
• The motivation and aptitude to learn new skills
