Customer Service Administrator| Patient Services | Temp to Perm Contract | Blanchardstown

The Client: Headquartered in Dublin 15, our client is a leading supplier to the healthcare industry and part of a global organisation. They have been experiencing a period of growth and have been successful in securing many new client contracts. Due to this expansion, they are seeking to recruit a Customer Service Administrator on a contract basis initially, however, there is a possibility that the role will develop into a permanent position.

The Role: As a Customer Service Administrator, you will be required to support key functions within the business. You will be responsible for handling a high volume of incoming patient referrals, ensuring patient needs are met in line with best practice. You will also be responsible for ensuring that service levels are maintained by completing regular checks with patients.

Hours of work: 40 hours per week | 8am-4.30pm or 8.30am-5pm | Monday to Friday

Contract: Temporary initially with a view to permanency

Key duties:

  • Take responsibility for various patient accounts, acting as the first point of contact for queries
  • Handle all incoming order processing and input data efficiently onto internal systems
  • Follow up on orders internally to ensure timelines for patients are in line with company policy
  • Handle various follow-up activities with patient base, ensuring they are availing of supports efficiently and in line with their needs
  • Office administration tasks such as database management, updating consultant reports and other compliance support activities
  • Provide support to the finance team on a regular basis
  • Management reporting and attendance at daily/weekly team meetings

Requirements:

  • At least 1-2 years experience in a customer facing role with an element of call handling, ideally in a healthcare environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel
  • Accurate, high speed data entry skills and good typing skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong organisational skills and multi-tasking abilities
