Job description
Staffline Recruitment Ireland, in collaboration with our esteemed client Moy Park, is seeking a skilled and reliable Semi Skilled Engineer. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment within the Moy Park facility.
Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 8am - 8pm
Week 2: Wednesday, Thursday 8am - 8pm
Week 3: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday 8pm - 8am
Week 4: Wednesday, Thursday 8pm - 8am
Semi-Skilled Maintenance Function
- To maintain blade sharpening, packing and shipping.
- To operate and maintain the water treatment facility on site to ensure compliance and minimise cost.
- To maintain production machinery to ensure operations are running efficiently and effectively.
- To rebuild the necessary equipment each morning for start-up.
- To implement preventative maintenance schedules and complete associated work management documentation.
- Manage all health and safety issues, including job safety training, accident reporting and investigation and hazard training, in particular manage the company hygiene policy to ensure that the specified standards of hygiene and quality are achieved.
- Carry out and comply with all company policies, procedures and instructions and any other reasonable duties deemed necessary by the company
To log all parts used and hours worked on SAP PM maintenance database.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Essential
- Good Standard level of education
- Mechanical aptitude
- Good diagnostic and problem solving skills
- Good organisation and reasoning ability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a FMCG environment, especially food
- Experience of Welding (gas & electric), Fabrication, and Pneumatics
Experience within a poultry processing machinery.
