MTA driver

Our client is currently seeking an MTA Driver / Porter.

Hours: 37 per week

Contract Type: Rolling Contract

About the Role

This role consists of supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy healthcare facility.

You will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of supplies, documentation, and internal mail across the site while maintaining high standards of confidentiality and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

• • Collection and delivery of internal and external mail.
  • Collection and transport of clinic boxes containing patient charts and confidential records between designated locations.
  • Collection and transport of blood specimens to the laboratory, when required.
  • Delivery of pharmacy orders to Pharmacy, as required.
  • Collection and delivery of files and documents as requested.
  • Covering Reception duties for short periods to cover breaks.
  • Keeping HSE vehicles clean, uncluttered and fit for purpose.
  • Undertake additional collections, deliveries and porter duties as directed by the Line Manager or designated supervisor to support service delivery.

Requirements

• Full, clean Irish driving licence (essential)

• Garda Vetting clearance (essential)

• Physically fit and capable of manual handling and lifting

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Reliable, punctual, and professional at all times

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Respect for confidentiality and sensitive information
