Lisburn
Temporary - minimum of 26 weeks
Hours of work: 37hrs per week - will including evenings, weekends and public holidays
Rate of Pay: £18.85 per hour
The Client: Local Government body based in Lisburn, serving local residents.
The Role:
As a member of the Facilities & Resources Team the postholder will be required to:
- Manage the day to day operations of a directly managed community centre(s), ensuring they are effectively staffed and are delivering services in a safe, clean and well maintained environment
- Oversee the implementation of a varied programme of activities that promote increased usage of facilities whilst meeting local community needs
- Monitor and evaluate community centre provision and make recommendations for continuous improvement to the service and customer experience
Essential Criteria:
Qualification:
- Applicants must have a minimum of two A levels grades A-C, NVQ level three or equivalent
Experience:
- Applicants must have a minimum of three years relevant experience working in commercial, community or leisure premises. Experience to include:
- Working with a diverse range of partners in developing community focused facilities
- Overseeing the key components of facilities management
- Managing budgets
- Managing staff
- Developing and implementing needs based programming
Where applicants do not hold the qualifications as outlined above, they must demonstrate a minimum five years' experience in the above areas
Knowledge:
- Knowledge of Health and Safety in relation to premises
- A basic knowledge of First Aid
Skills:
- Hold a full (ie not provisional) current UK driving licence and access to a car or * have access to a means of transport which would enable the applicant to carry out the duties of the post
