Our client, a prominent Semi State body, is seeking a Recruitment & Resource Planning Specialist to join their Human Resources team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in attracting, assessing, and onboarding talent for safety-critical positions while supporting strategic workforce planning initiatives.
The Role
The successful candidate will manage end-to-end recruitment campaigns, working closely with hiring managers and internal stakeholders to deliver an exceptional recruitment experience. Key to this role is to ensure recruitment processes meet strict compliance standards, particularly for safety-critical roles, while driving continuous improvement across recruitment and selection practices.
This is a varied role that combines recruitment delivery, stakeholder management, assessment administration, data analysis, and HR project support.
Key Responsibilities will include:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from attraction through to onboarding.
- Coordinate recruitment campaigns for high-volume and safety-critical positions.
- Schedule and administer assessments, interviews, medicals, and reference checks.
- Work closely with hiring managers to understand recruitment needs and deliver effective hiring solutions.
- Support interview panels and selection processes using structured assessment methodologies.
- Ensure recruitment activities comply with organisational, legislative, GDPR, and safety requirements.
- Prepare employment contracts and manage recruitment administration.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records, databases, and reporting.
- Contribute to diversity, equity and inclusion (ED&I) initiatives and employer attraction campaigns.
- Support continuous improvement of recruitment systems and HR processes.
Applicants will meet the following requirements:
- Third-level qualification in Human Resources, Business, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3-5 years' end-to-end recruitment experience.
- Experience recruiting within a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent planning, organisational, and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Customer-focused with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
- Level A & B Ability and Personality Testing accreditation experience will be highly regarded.
- Experience using the 16PF assessment tool is also desirable.
