Relief Pharmacist

A busy, independent community pharmacy is seeking an experienced Relief Pharmacist to provide weekday cover throughout August.

This is an excellent opportunity for a pharmacist looking for flexible locum work with a welcoming and supportive pharmacy team.

Key Duties:

• Safely and accurately dispense prescriptions in line with PSI guidelines
• Provide professional advice and counselling to patients
• Supervise the pharmacy team and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the dispensary
• Deliver exceptional customer service and patient care
• Ensure all legal and professional pharmacy standards are maintained
• Support the team with stock management and general pharmacy operations

Essential Criteria:

• Registered with the Pharmaceutical Society of Ireland (PSI)
• Previous experience working in a busy community pharmacy in Ireland
• Strong knowledge of Irish pharmacy legislation, PSI standards, and reimbursement schemes (e.g. HSE, DPS, GMS, LTI).
• Experience using pharmacy dispensing software (e.g. McLernons, MPS, QicScript or similar).Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Available to cover 6 weekdays during August (dates to be agreed)
