Trainee Accountant | Dublin 12

Our client, a well-established and growing business based in Dublin 12, is seeking to recruit a Trainee Accountant to join their busy finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting graduate or accounts assistant looking to develop their career within a supportive organisation that offers genuine long-term progression and study support.

Working as part of an experienced finance function, you will gain hands-on exposure to a broad range of accounting responsibilities while building a solid foundation for a successful career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Processing supplier invoices and maintaining the accounts payable function
• Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
• Preparing payment runs
• Assisting with month-end processes and reconciliations
• Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting the finance team with daily accounting activities
• Assisting with ad hoc finance and administration duties as required

About You

• Degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Business or a related discipline, or relevant accounts experience
• Strong attention to detail with excellent numerical skills
• Good communication and organisational abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Eager to learn and build a long-term career in accounting
• A positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

What's on Offer

• Salary of €30,000 - €35,000, depending on experience
