About the Role

Our client, a well-established and growing logistics and distribution business in the Galway region, is seeking a reliable and motivated Van Driver to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for multi-drop deliveries of fresh produce to customers throughout County Galway and surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced driver who enjoys working independently, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining high standards of professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete daily multi-drop delivery routes efficiently and safely.

• Load and unload fresh produce deliveries in line with company procedures.

• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.

• Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any maintenance issues.

• Maintain accurate delivery records and obtain customer signatures where required.

• Provide a professional and friendly service to customers at all delivery locations.

Requirements

• Full clean Category B driving licence.

• Previous experience in a multi-drop delivery role preferred.

• Ability to work independently and manage a delivery schedule.

• Physically fit and capable of handling manual loading and unloading duties.

• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

• Experience delivering food, fresh produce, or FMCG products.

• Familiarity with handheld delivery systems and route planning tools.
