CUSTOMS CLEARANCE COORDINATOR | DUBLIN | PERMANENT
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Customs Clearance Coordinator to manage import and export customs processes across road, sea, and air freight operations. Minimum 1 year experience in customs clearance required, though candidates with additional experience are strongly encouraged to apply.
ON OFFER|
- Working hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm
- Full-time position
- Base salary: negotiable depending on level of experience

THE ROLE|
The successful candidate will ensure timely customs declarations, maintain compliance with Irish Revenue and AEO standards, and coordinate efficiently with customers, internal teams, and state authorities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES|
- Complete import/export customs declarations, ENS, and PBN documentation
- Coordinate customs clearance activities across multiple transport modes
- Liaise with customers, ports, and regulatory authorities to obtain required documentation
- Ensure VAT and duty payments are authorised and processed correctly
- Maintain accurate customs records and compliance procedures
- Support audits and continuous process improvements
REQUIREMENTS|
- Minimum 1 year experience in customs clearance required, though candidates with additional experience are strongly encouraged to apply (Salary Neg. DOE)
- Strong knowledge of customs procedures, tariff classifications, and VAT rules
- Experience with DAFM, HSE, Port Health, TRACES, and INIS advantageous
- Must have experience using Azyra and Thyme systems
- Proficiency in MS Office and customs/logistics software
- Excellent communication, organisational, and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and manage operational priorities effectively
