Logistics Coordinator

Staffline Recruitment Ireland are partnering with a well-established organisation to recruit for a Freight Forwarding Logistics Coordinator to join the Belfast team on an initial maternity cover basis, with the potential for the role to continue beyond the initial contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing import and export freight forwarding operations
• Coordinating EU and international container shipments
• Supporting air freight movements
• Arranging local transport for container deliveries and collections across Northern Ireland
• Liaising with clients, shipping lines, and transport providers
• Handling documentation and ensuring compliance with processes
• Working across online systems and freight portals

About You

• Previous experience in freight forwarding / logistics/ transport operations is essential
• Strong understanding of container shipping and global freight movements
• Comfortable using computer systems and online platforms
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and small team

Additional Requirements

• You must have full, unrestricted right to work in the United Kingdom
• Able to work fully onsite in Belfast
