TRANSPORT PLANNER | DUBLIN 15 | PERMANENT

We are seeking an organised and hands-on Transport Planner to join our client's logistics team in Dublin 15.

THE ROLE|

You will coordinate domestic transport operations across Ireland, ensuring efficient routing, strong communication, and reliable daily delivery performance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES|

• Plan daily delivery routes nationwide, ensuring efficient use of vehicles and drivers
• Liaise with carriers, subcontractors, and drivers on daily operations, monitoring deliveries, resolving discrepancies, damages, and delays
• Handle customer queries, delivery updates, and ad-hoc quotations
• Manage Proof of Delivery (POD) tracking and follow-ups
• Support invoicing and ensure accurate documentation
• Participate in out-of-hours support rota when needed on a limited basis

REQUIREMENTS|

• Previous experience in transport planning or logistics (domestic distribution preferred)
• Good knowledge of Irish road network and route planning
• Experience with transport systems (Azyra or similar)
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
