Stock Controller / Logistics Administrator
📍 Carrigtwohill, Cork
💰 €35,000 per annum
🕒 Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm (flexible start times available)
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Controller / Logistics Administrator to join a busy logistics and warehousing operation in the Carrigtwohill area.
This is a fast-paced, office-based role focused on order fulfilment, stock control, and customer coordination within a chilled distribution environment.
The company works within the logistics and distribution sector, managing stock on behalf of manufacturers and ensuring efficient delivery to customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and update stock management systems
- Prepare pick lists and dispatch documentation
- Coordinate stock receipts and deliveries with warehouse and logistics teams
- Liaise with customers via email and phone to resolve queries
- Maintain accurate stock records and generate reports
- Communicate with transport providers and drivers regarding scheduling
- Ensure all documentation complies with internal procedures
- General office administration including scanning, filing, and switchboard support
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in an office-based administration role
- Strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel and Outlook
- Experience with order processing or stock control is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy (particularly with numbers and data)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Strong organisational skills and team player attitude
