Senior Operations Manager

Location: Dublin
Salary: €100,000 - €120,000 + bonus + vehicle + benefits

A leading business in distribution is seeking an experienced Senior Operations Manager to lead large-scale transport operations across multiple sites nationwide. This is a senior leadership role focused on operational performance, cost control, service delivery, and driving consistency across a fast-paced distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage nationwide transport operations across multiple locations
• Drive operational performance, labour efficiency, and cost control initiatives
• Manage and support site leadership teams, ensuring accountability and consistency
• Deliver against key KPIs including OTIF, fleet utilisation, service levels, safety, and labour costs
• Oversee operational P&L performance and margin management
• Improve operational structure, reporting standards, and governance across the division
• Partner with senior leadership on operational strategy and customer performance
• Ensure compliance with all transport, safety, and regulatory requirements

About You

• Proven senior operations experience within logistics, FMCG, beverage, or high-volume distribution
• Strong background managing multi-site transport operations
• Commercially focused with solid financial and operational awareness
• Experience improving transport efficiency, labour productivity, and operational performance
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large operational teams through site leadership structures
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, customer-focused environments
