CNM I - Day Surgery

Our client, a private hospital based in Dublin is seeking an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager (CNM 1) to join their team in the hospital's Day Surgery.

The role is a full time & permanent position.

Key Duties:

• Supervise and support nurses and healthcare assistants
• Organise staff shifts and daily duties
• Help plan and manage the daily surgery schedule
• Make sure patients move smoothly through admission, surgery, and discharge
• Collaborate closely with doctors, anaesthetists, and theatre staff
• Assist with audits and quality improvement work

Essential Criteria:

• Be officially registered as a nurse in Ireland (NMBI PIN)
• 2-4 years working in a hospital in Ireland
• Experience helping with anaesthetics (putting patients to sleep for surgery)
• At least 1 year working in an operating theatre or day surgery
• An ACLS certificate (or be willing to get it)
