Staff Nurse - Medical & Surgical Ward

Full time/perm post, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Sunday) and reporting to Clinical Nurse Manager.

Our client, a private hospital based in Dublin is seeking an experienced Staff Nurse to join their team.

The role will ideally suit qualified nurses who have experience working in Medical and Surgical based wards delivering quality nursing care to patients.

Key Duties:

• Has the ability to organise and perform activities related to the role in an efficient and effective manner.
• Responsible for the assessment of patient care needs and the development and implementation of quality nursing care and the evaluation of such care.
• Will be expected to provide such nursing care without direct supervision and will be required to support colleagues within the Nursing Division in the delivery of quality nursing care.
• Ensure all documentation of patient care is of a high standard, accurate and kept up to date according to the Code of Conduct, Hospital Policies and in accordance with professional standards.
• Advocating for the patient's needs and safety throughout their admission and up to their discharge from hospital.

Essential Criteria:

• Must be fully registered with An Bord Altranais/NMBI and have an active PIN.
• Must have a minimum 2 years' experience working as a Staff Nurse in a Medical or Surgical Ward.
• You must be eligible to work in Ireland full time (Minimum Stamp 4). Sponsorship is not provided for this role.
