Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager
Location: South Dublin
Contract Type: Full-Time
Overview:
A purpose-built nursing home in Blackrock is seeking a committed and compassionate Clinical Nurse Manager to join its care team. The home is part of a respected group dedicated to delivering person-centred care in a warm and supportive environment.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and clinical skills, a deep respect for the dignity and autonomy of residents, and flexibility to work across both weekdays and weekends.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the Person in Charge in leading the clinical team and ensuring delivery of high-quality care
Promote dignity, choice, independence, and well-being among all residents
Foster respectful, inclusive care practices and uphold best practices in geriatric care
Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, internal policies, and procedures
Mentor and support staff to promote continuous professional development and best practices
Requirements:
Essential:
Registered General Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with NMBI (or eligible for registration)
Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience, ideally in a CNM or Senior Staff Nurse role
Evidence of ongoing professional development
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
Desirable:
Postgraduate qualification in Gerontology, Management, or related field
Experience in geriatric, psycho-geriatric, or disability care settings
Proficiency in IT systems used in healthcare
