Job Title: Clinical Nurse Manager
Location: South Dublin
Contract Type: Full-Time

Overview:
A purpose-built nursing home in Blackrock is seeking a committed and compassionate Clinical Nurse Manager to join its care team. The home is part of a respected group dedicated to delivering person-centred care in a warm and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership and clinical skills, a deep respect for the dignity and autonomy of residents, and flexibility to work across both weekdays and weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Person in Charge in leading the clinical team and ensuring delivery of high-quality care

  • Promote dignity, choice, independence, and well-being among all residents

  • Foster respectful, inclusive care practices and uphold best practices in geriatric care

  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans

  • Ensure compliance with HIQA standards, internal policies, and procedures

  • Mentor and support staff to promote continuous professional development and best practices

Requirements:

Essential:

  • Registered General Nurse or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with NMBI (or eligible for registration)

  • Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience, ideally in a CNM or Senior Staff Nurse role

  • Evidence of ongoing professional development

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Desirable:

  • Postgraduate qualification in Gerontology, Management, or related field

  • Experience in geriatric, psycho-geriatric, or disability care settings

  • Proficiency in IT systems used in healthcare
