Contract: Full-Time (35 hours/week) for a Healthcare establishment via Staffline
Start Date: ASAP | Grace given for Notice Periods | 6 months duration approx
Service Locations
Role is based based across Centres in North and West Dublin, including:
Swords, Coolock, Portmarnock, Balbriggan, Kilbarrack, Tonlegee, Summerhill, Clontarf, Ballymun, Finglas, Navan Road, Grangegorman, Blanchardstown, Corduff, and Roselawn.
Where possible you will be based in one location for duration of Contract.
Staff Grade / Senior Clinical Psychologist - North Dublin
Overview
Staffline Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a dedicated Staff Grade or Senior Clinical Psychologist to join a dynamic and inclusive Child Primary Care Team based in North Dublin.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate professional to make a meaningful difference in the lives of children and their families by delivering evidence-based psychological services within a multidisciplinary environment.
In this role, you will provide high-quality assessment, formulation, and intervention to children and young people experiencing a broad range of developmental, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. Conditions frequently seen include Autism Spectrum Conditions, ADHD, anxiety, and low mood.
You will work closely with families, carers, and professionals across disciplines to promote positive outcomes through collaborative and child-centred care.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments tailored to children's individual needs
Develop and deliver evidence-based interventions | individually and in groups ; appropriate to clinical presentation
Work collaboratively with families and multidisciplinary team members to design effective therapeutic plans
Provide consultation and psychological guidance to carers, teachers, and allied professionals
Contribute to service planning, audits, and continuous quality improvement
Maintain high standards in documentation, data protection, and clinical governance
Participate in supervision, CPD, and clinical meetings as part of your ongoing development.
Essential Criteria
Doctoral qualification (or equivalent/Level 9) in Clinical, Counselling, or Educational Psychology.
Eligible for or currently registered with the Psychological Society of Ireland (PSI)
- If International Graduate Validation process must already be completed via Heath department validation process.
Experience working with children and families in community or clinical settings
Proven ability to apply psychological theory in practice, including assessment and intervention planning
Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic approaches and intervention models
Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills
Full, clean driving licence and access to own transport
