Payroll Specialist

Are you interested in joining a Global Company with a National presence? I am recruiting for a full time and permanent Payroll Specialist who can manage the end to end payroll process for my client. This hybrid role is based in Cork where you can be part of a dynamic and growing team.

Role Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end payroll process
• Review time sheets for automatic upload into the payroll software
• Manage holiday pay and statutory payments
• Calculate benefits in kind
• Handle general queries
• Set up new associates and manage leavers
• Work closely with the Finance team and Pension Advisors regarding Pensions and the implementation of the future Government auto-enrolment
• Ensure adherence to the organisation's internal financial controls with regard to payroll processing.

About You:

• A background and understanding of payroll is essential
• Significant end to end payroll experience
• Experience in the application of payroll tax processes including ERR and ROS
• Strong numerical reasoning capability and communication skills
• Analytic focus and drive to implement system/process improvements
• Advanced knowledge in MS Excel
• Completed certificate in IPASS or in the process of completing is essential
