Our client, a family-owned business operating for over 40 years has a fantastic opportunity within their Finance team as an Accounts Administrator. The ideal candidate will have fantastic administration experience, a self-starter, and excellent attention to detail. Moreover, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all aspects of their role are completed accurately and within the timescales required. Main Tasks
- Processing purchase invoices for goods and services.
- Managing and collating expense forms and credit card expenses.
- Assisting with sales invoice and credit note processing.
- Supporting month-end financial close procedures.
- Liaising with internal teams and external partners.
- Managing and collecting debts via phone or email, ensuring timely payments.
- Performing additional finance-related tasks as required.
Criteria
- Excellent attention to detail.
- At least 1 year of prior Administration experience, ideally within a financial environment.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proven experience in MS Excel and other MS packages (Outlook & Word).
- 5 GCSEs (or equivalent) with Mathematics and English at Grade C or above.
- Understanding of Basic Accounting Principles.
