Position: Qualified/ Part-Qualified Auditor
Reporting to: Audit manager & Partners
Position Supervises: Staff involved on specific projects

The role: Working in client's audit department, the role will entail overseeing audit work on the firm's portfolio of clients and being responsible for the delivery of completed and compliant files for review and finalisation.


The ideal candidate should:

  • have a track record of audit exposure previously, (ideally across all sectors of the economy);
  • have a record of being the lead on an audit team engaging with clients directly in the field;
  • have the commensurate technical skills and awareness of audit and accounting standards that go with such experience;
  • have strong commercial awareness and acumen to aid in problem solving;
  • have the ability to work on their own initiative as well as to supervise the work of others

Main areas of responsibility:

  • Organise and oversee the execution and completion of audit field work as the lead on the audit engagement team
  • Ensuring the completion of audit files by the team within planned time frames and presenting same for review
  • Completion of statutory financial statements and all other ancillary documents for review
  • Ensuring effective communication with the client during the process and ensuring that relationships with clients are maintained, cultivated and strengthened
  • Ensuring effective communication with other audit staff to ensure that their training needs are met and that jobs are delivered on time and to the required level of quality

Other areas of responsibility:

  • Attendance at all training courses and seminars requested of you by the firm.
  • Adhering to all ACCA rules and regulations in relation to your role and more specifically in relation to your CPD requirements.
  • Other duties as and when the Practice deems appropriate.
