Mechanical Engineer

MECHANICAL ENGINEER | NORTH COUNTY DUBLIN | CONTRACT | HYBRID

We are working with a wonderful client based in North County Dublin who are searching for a qualified Mechanical Engineer to join their team for a project which is planned to take one year to complete.

THE ROLE|

You will be assisting with the support of the Automotive Department in reviewing and completing technical reports and updates. Previous experience in the coordination and reviewing of reports as well as having knowledge of motor vehicle requirements in Ireland is highly desirable.

• Please note that this role has the option of a hybrid working policy with 2 to 3 days working from home based on business requirements.
• There is parking on site as well as being accessible to limited public transport.
• Hours are work are Monday to Friday 9am to 5.15pm.
• Please note that this is a contract position where the successful candidate will work through Staffline with weekly payroll.

RESPONSIBILITIES|

• Evaluate applications and determine compliance
• Review assessments and assist with the team and update accordingly
• Update records and coordinate with all stakeholders

REQUIREMENTS |

• Third level Hons bachelor's degree (NFQ Level 8) in a relevant mechanical engineering or science related discipline.
• 2 years relevant experience working in an office-based coordination role
• Competent in Motor Vehicle Requirements
• Excellent customer service skills as well as strong technical and IT skill with a high level of proficiency with MS Office programs
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to work as part of a team environment self-manage and prioritise daily workload
