Manufacturing Engineer

My client, a Galway based Medical Device organisation, are looking to hire a new Manufacturing Engineer.

This role will suit someone with a degree in Mechanical / Manufacturing Engineering

This is a permanent role based on-site in Galway City.

Responsibilities

• Establish suitable process controls in order to ensure reliable and consistent production of commercial products.
• Improve the performance of the manufacturing process by applying the continuous improvement technique.
• QA/Regulatory Authority, Environmental Health and Safety, and GMP requirements must all be met by all engineering work and designs.
• Project management.
• New Process Development.
• Ensure successful change management and offer technical support for the adoption of new products and technologies.
• Through Six Sigma methodologies, successfully complete validations and process improvements.
• To assist in the analysis of risk to the product or user, as well as the process, equipment, health, and safety risk assessment.

Requirements

• Honour's degree required in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
• 2+ years experience in Manufacturing Engineering/ Process Development., Med Device is desirable.
• Having an in-depth knowledge of manufacturing line performance measurement is a must have.
