Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Food and Beverage Operations Manager on behalf of our client within the hospitality sector. The Food and Beverage Operations Manager will take responsibility for the Food and Beverage team delivering quality 4-star service across a busy hotel operation. You will have a strong focus on people development, customer service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the bar, restaurant and events spaces, overseeing day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
• Ensure excellent levels of internal and external customer service at all times
• Assist with the design of exceptional menus, purchase goods and continuously make necessary improvements to your department
• Identify customer needs and respond proactively to all of their concerns
• Develop the food and beverage teams by attracting, recruiting, training and appraising
• Establish targets, SOP's, policies and procedures required for your department to run effectively and efficiently
• Ensure a two-way communication and nurture an ownership environment with emphasis on motivation and teamwork
• Comply with all health and safety regulations
• Report to management regarding sales results and productivity
• Any other duties role may involve

Person Specification:

• 2 years' experience within a similar role
• Sound knowledge of the hospitality industry and competitors
• Proven track record in a hotel environment operating to 4-star standard, with conference and banqueting experience
• Financial awareness
• Proven track record of the ability to lead a team to achieve sales targets, control of costs and exceptional service delivery
• Extensive Food & Beverage background
