Band 2 Support Services Housekeeper

Band 2 Support Services Housekeeper required for a large public sector organisation based through the Belfast Trust.

Location: Various Locations

Pay Per Hour: £11.45

Part Time Various hours

JOB SUMMARY/MAIN PURPOSE:

The postholder will be responsible for providing cleaning, catering and laundry services within a designated facility

MAIN DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Preparing beverages, snacks, preparation and cooking of meals as per menu
2. Ordering food, maintaining adequate stocks and ensuring good stock rotation
3. Complying with all food hygiene control systems
4. Labelling and dating of food on delivery
5. Ensuring food is correctly and safely stored
6. Dishwashing
7. Cleaning all kitchen equipment Cleaning
8. Cleaning of sinks, baths, toilets, showers and urinals.
9. Damp cleaning of furniture, fixtures, fittings, paintwork, tiles and glass partitions.
10. All floor maintenance i.e. vacuuming, damp mopping, spray cleaning, burnishing, machine scrubbing and shampooing. Laundry
11. Hand washing of non-launderable items
12. Laundering and ironing of personal clothing, bed linen, towels etc.
13. Cleaning laundry equipment

ESSENTIAL CRITERIA

• Paid experience in cooking for a large family group
• Must be over 18
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills

DESIRABLE CRITERIA

• Basic Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent.
• Cooking qualification.
• Experience in working within a health and social care environment.
