Staffline Ireland are recruiting for a Director of Sales and Marketing on behalf of our client within the hospitality sector. The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for leading the Sales and Marketing department to achieve the hotel's revenue targets, enhancing brand presence, and driving strategic initiatives to position the hotel as a leader in the luxury market. This role involves developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies, managing key client relationships, and working closely with other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies that align with the hotel's business objectives.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and potential growth opportunities.
• Set annual sales targets and develop plans to meet or exceed these targets.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Management team to optimize pricing, distribution, and inventory strategies.
• Monitor and analyse sales performance, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet revenue goals.
• Oversee the hotel's sales forecasting and budgeting process.
• Develop and maintain the hotel's brand positioning and identity in the market.
• Oversee all marketing communications, including digital, print, and social media, to ensure consistent brand messaging.
• Manage relationships with PR agencies, media outlets, and other marketing partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the Sales and Marketing team, setting clear goals and providing regular feedback.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key clients, including corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners.
• Oversee the development and execution of sales initiatives for all segments, including group, leisure, and corporate.
• Collaborate with the events team to promote the hotel as a premier venue for conferences, weddings, and other special events.
• Oversee the planning and execution of promotional events and trade shows.
• Develop and maintain relationships with VIP guests, high-profile clients, and strategic partners.
• Oversee the implementation of customer loyalty programs and initiatives to enhance guest retention.
• Manage the Sales and Marketing budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
• Monitor expenditures and ROI on marketing initiatives, adjusting plans as needed.
• Work closely with the Operations, F&B, and Rooms divisions to ensure that all departments align with the overall sales and marketing strategy.
• Provide input into product development, pricing strategies, and service enhancements.
• Any other duties role may involve.

Person Specification:

• Bachelor's degree within a related field.
• 7 years experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within the luxury hospitality industry.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth in a luxury hotel setting.
• Strong understanding of luxury market dynamics and high-net-worth customer behaviour.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in digital marketing, CRM tools, and sales analytics.
• Strong network within the luxury travel, corporate, and event planning industries.
