Accounts Assistant (Payable)

Accounts Assistant (Acct Payable), Cavan Town

Maternity cover role for 9months

Salary depending on experience

Duties

• Carry out all functions involved in the processing and payment of supplier's invoices.
• Support the company in optimising its financial transactions and systems
• Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process
• Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting
• Providing administrative and clerical support by processing, verifying and reconciling invoices and associated documents.
• Review the integrity of invoices and associated documentation prior to processing.
• Perform invoice and general-ledger data entry.
• Generate purchase orders when necessary.
• To generate weekly reports which detail the supplier's invoices due for payment.
• To monitor charges and report on any discrepancies.
• Reconcile supplier's statements with the company's records.
• Deal with any supplier's queries in an efficient and courteous manner.
• Adhere to all Kyte held ISO standards and IPPC Licence requirements.
• Adhere to Safety & Emergency procedures.
• Report to the Financial Controller any fault or defect in plant, equipment, system of
• work or place of work of which you become aware.
• Advise and support to other departments when required.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties as and when required by the Finance Controller

Criteria

• Proven track record in a busy accounts payable department.
• Minimum 24 months experience in a similar role
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Ability to meet strict deadlines
• Strong communication skills
• Excellent organisational skills
