eCommerce Manager - Digital & eBusiness Systems

We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Manager - Digital & eBusiness Systems to join a growing team based in Limerick. This is a full-time opportunity for someone who can take ownership of eCommerce performance, lead a small team, and help develop digital sales channels across a well-established international organisation.

Our client is a leading international supplier of industrial products, supporting customers across sectors including automotive, engineering, construction, and maintenance. With a strong presence in Ireland and a growing nationwide network, the business continues to invest in its digital and eCommerce offering.

The company has a wide range of products and serves customers through multiple channels, including direct sales, trade outlets, eCommerce, mobile applications, and eProcurement solutions. The Limerick head office brings together teams across Sales, Marketing, Finance, Customer Service, Logistics, and other key business functions.

Responsibilities

As an eCommerce Manager - Digital & eBusiness Systems, you will play a key role in developing the company's online sales channels and digital customer experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting the day-to-day activities of the eBusiness team, including workload planning, prioritisation, coaching, and development;
• Managing and improving eCommerce platforms across eShop, mobile app, and eProcurement channels;
• Monitoring online sales performance, customer engagement, conversion rates, and other key digital metrics;
• Using data and reporting to identify opportunities and make informed commercial decisions;
• Working with internal teams and external partners to deliver website improvements, new features, and digital solutions;
• Coordinating digital content and marketing activity to ensure it is accurate, engaging, and commercially effective;
• Managing customer-specific online solutions and digital content;
• Acting as a point of escalation for online and digital system issues and ensuring these are resolved efficiently;
• Supporting the rollout and ongoing development of digital systems across the business;
• Working closely with Sales, IT, Marketing, and Operations to deliver eBusiness initiatives and improve the overall customer journey.

Criteria

• Previous experience in eCommerce, digital systems, digital marketing, or a similar commercial digital role;
• A digital marketing qualification would be an advantage but is not essential;
• Previous experience managing or leading a team;
• Experience working with eCommerce platforms and using digital analytics to improve customer engagement and conversion;
• Strong analytical and reporting skills with a commercial, data-driven approach;
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with SAP is essential;
• Basic graphic design experience would be beneficial.
