Location: Limerick
Salary: €41,000-€43,000 per annum, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Start Date: Early November

Staffline Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Warehouse Supervisor on behalf of our client based in Limerick.

This is a hands-on leadership position requiring an experienced warehouse professional who can effectively manage day-to-day warehouse operations while leading and supporting the warehouse team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for the smooth running of daily warehouse activities, ensuring that operational, safety, stock-control and productivity standards are consistently maintained.

Key Responsibilities

* Oversee the day-to-day operation of the warehouse
* Supervise, support and coordinate warehouse team members
* Allocate daily workloads and ensure operational priorities are completed efficiently
* Coordinate goods-in, storage, picking, packing and dispatch activities
* Monitor warehouse productivity and ensure daily targets and deadlines are achieved
* Maintain high standards of stock accuracy and inventory control
* Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies and operational issues
* Ensure deliveries and dispatches are processed accurately and on time
* Maintain an organised and efficient warehouse layout
* Ensure all employees follow company health and safety procedures
* Promote a strong safety culture throughout the warehouse
* Identify operational improvements and opportunities to increase efficiency
* Support the training and development of warehouse employees
* Liaise with management and other departments regarding stock, deliveries and operational requirements
* Deal with day-to-day issues and escalate significant operational concerns where appropriate
* Maintain relevant warehouse records and documentation
* Provide hands-on operational support to the team when required

Requirements

* Previous experience in a Warehouse Supervisor, Senior Warehouse Operative, Team Leader or similar warehouse leadership position
* Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including goods-in, goods-out, picking, dispatch and stock control
* Demonstrated experience supervising and motivating warehouse employees
* Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
* Ability to prioritise workloads in a busy operational environment
* Strong communication and people-management skills
* Good understanding of warehouse health and safety requirements
* High level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day warehouse operations
* Ability to work effectively with management and other departments
* Forklift certification and practical forklift experience would be advantageous
