Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver

Location: Limerick
Pay: €16.00-€17.50 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
Start Date: Early November

Staffline Recruitment is currently recruiting an experienced Warehouse Operative / Forklift Driver on behalf of our client based in Limerick.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced warehouse operative looking to join a busy and well-organised operation on a full-time Monday-to-Friday schedule.

A valid Counterbalance Forklift Certificate is essential for this position. Candidates who also hold a valid Reach Forklift Certificate will have a distinct advantage.

Key Responsibilities

* Carry out general warehouse duties including receiving, storing, picking and preparing goods for dispatch
* Safely operate a counterbalance forklift as part of daily warehouse operations
* Load and unload deliveries safely and efficiently
* Move, organise and store stock within designated warehouse locations
* Pick and prepare orders accurately for dispatch
* Assist with goods-in and goods-out activities
* Complete stock checks and report discrepancies where required
* Ensure goods and materials are handled safely to prevent damage
* Maintain a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment
* Follow all company health and safety procedures
* Work closely with warehouse colleagues and supervisors to ensure daily operational targets are achieved
* Carry out additional warehouse duties as required

Requirements

* Valid Counterbalance Forklift Certificate - essential
* Valid Reach Forklift Certificate - highly desirable
* Previous warehouse experience
* Previous practical forklift operating experience
* Strong awareness of warehouse health and safety procedures
* Good organisational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team
* Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
* Comfortable working in a busy warehouse environment
