Working Foreman

Staffline Recruitment Ireland, on behalf of our valued client, is seeking an experienced Working Foreman to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position, working on sports surfacing and groundworks projects nationwide (head office based in Co. Limerick).

Organisation:

Our client is an established specialist contractor delivering sports surfacing, synthetic pitches, playgrounds, running tracks and associated groundworks projects across Ireland, with a strong focus on quality and professional project delivery.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day running of projects and supervision of site teams. Key duties include:

• Lead and supervise site crews.
• Organise daily works, materials, plant and deliveries.
• Set out works and check levels and dimensions.
• Carry out and supervise groundworks and operate machinery where required.
• Ensure works are completed safely and to a high standard.
• Liaise with management, clients and other contractors on site.
• Complete site records and report progress or issues to management.
• Travel nationwide, with overnight stays required on some projects.

Benefits:

• €30 gross pay per hour (DOE);

Criteria:

• Previous experience as a Foreman, Site Supervisor or experienced Groundworker;
• Full clean Irish/EU driving licence - essential;
• Safe Pass and Manual Handling - essential;
• Digger/360 Excavator ticket - highly desirable;
• Ability to read drawings and set out accurately;
• Good understanding of health & safety;
• Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required.
