Labourer

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Labourer to join a well-established, family-run cleaning company based in Northern Ireland.

The role involves travelling daily to construction, commercial and industrial sites across Northern Ireland, carrying out cleaning and preparation work following construction, refurbishment and renovation projects.

The successful candidate will carry out a range of cleaning and general labouring duties, helping to maintain high standards across different sites. Company transport is provided with daily pick-up and drop-off from Ballymena.

Full training will be provided, although previous experience in labouring, construction or industrial cleaning is desirable.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday
• 7:00am-4:30pm
• Full-time

Responsibilities

• Cleaning windows, kitchens, toilets and other areas of commercial premises
• Power and pressure washing
• Removing dust, dirt, construction residue and debris following building works
• Cleaning floors, walls, cladding and other surfaces
• Carrying out general labouring and manual handling duties
• Using cleaning equipment safely and correctly
• Following company health and safety procedures
• Maintaining a high standard of workmanship
• Travelling to different locations across Northern Ireland as required

Essential Criteria

• Very good level of spoken and written English
• Good knowledge and understanding of health and safety
• Understanding of safe manual handling practices
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Good attention to detail
• Willingness to travel to different locations across Northern Ireland
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Desirable Criteria

• Previous experience as a Labourer
• Previous experience in construction or industrial cleaning
• CSR Card
• Full driving licence
