Support Worker (Female Only) | Lisburn | £13.45 per hour

Staffline Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a leading disability support organisation for a dedicated Female Support Worker to join their Supported Living Service in the Lisburn area. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of adults living with physical disabilities, sensory impairments, neurological conditions, and acquired brain injuries.

Hours Available

  • 20 hours per week
  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent contracts
  • 3-week rolling rota
  • Shifts: 8:00am to 3:00pm and 3:00pm to 9/10pm
  • Flexibility required, including weekends, bank holidays and unsociable hours on a rotational basis

The Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support to adults in a supported living environment, helping individuals maintain independence and achieve their personal goals. Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting service users with daily living activities
  • Providing personal care where required
  • Promoting independence and community inclusion
  • Assisting with social, leisure, and life skills activities
  • Supporting medication administration in line with policy
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation
  • Participating in cleaning, household tasks and food preparation
  • Working collaboratively as part of a supportive team

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum 6 months' caring experience (paid or personal caring responsibilities)
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in supporting people within a care environment
  • Awareness of the needs of individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities
