Staffline Recruitment Ireland is looking for an ambitious and commercially driven Recruitment Consultant to join our team in Northern Ireland.

You'll manage the full recruitment lifecycle, building strong client relationships, developing new business, sourcing candidates and supporting them through the recruitment process.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Client Management

• Develop new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
• Build and maintain long-term client relationships, understanding their recruitment needs, business goals and workforce requirements.
• Manage vacancies from initial briefing through to successful placement.
• Achieve agreed sales, activity and gross profit targets.
• Identify opportunities to grow existing accounts and promote additional Staffline services.
• Provide clients with recruitment updates, market insight and salary benchmarking.

Candidate Management

• Source, attract and engage candidates across a range of recruitment channels.
• Screen, interview and register candidates against client requirements.
• Build and maintain talent pools for current and future vacancies.
• Prepare candidates for interviews and provide timely feedback throughout the recruitment process.
• Shortlist and present suitable candidates to clients.
• Negotiate job offers, salaries, notice periods and terms of employment.

Recruitment Delivery & Compliance

• Maintain accurate client, candidate and vacancy information on the CRM.
• Complete relevant candidate vetting, referencing and compliance checks.
• Ensure all recruitment activity meets company quality standards and legislative requirements.
• Deliver a professional, high-quality service to both clients and candidates.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues across the wider Staffline business.
• Keep up to date with market trends, candidate availability and competitor activity.

What We're Looking For

You will be a confident communicator with strong commercial awareness and the ability to build effective relationships with clients and candidates.

You will be proactive, organised and motivated by delivering results in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.

Essential

• At least 1 year of Recruitment Consultancy experience within the last 5 years, or 2 years of direct sales experience within the last 5 years in a target-driven environment involving new business development and account management.
• Experience working towards commercial, sales or performance targets.
• Strong communication, influencing and relationship-building skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify business opportunities.
• Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
• A proactive and results-focused approach.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality service.
• Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word and Outlook.
• 5 GCSEs at Grades A-C or equivalent, including English and Maths.
• Full, clean driving licence or access to transport, as travel may be required.

Desirable

• 2+ years' Recruitment Consultancy experience.
• Experience using recruitment databases or CRM systems.
