Housing Executive | Temporary Contract - Maternity Cover
Location: Housing Centre, 5th Floor, Belfast
Department: HR - Advisory & Policy Management
Reporting Unit: HR - People & Resourcing
Grade: B5
Hourly Rate: £16.90 per hour
Hours: 37 hours per week
Working Hours: 9:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday
Contract Dates: 10 September 2026 - 10 December 2026
Reason for Cover: Maternity Leave
About the Role
We are currently seeking an experienced HR Advisor - Resourcing to join the Housing Executive on a temporary basis, providing maternity cover within the HR - People & Resourcing team.
The successful candidate will support the Senior HR Advisor in ensuring the effective delivery of employee resourcing activity across the Housing Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional to contribute to the delivery of a modern, professional and responsive HR service supporting the organisation's wider business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Senior HR Advisor in the effective delivery of employee resourcing activity across the Housing Executive.
- Contribute to the provision of a modern, professional and responsive HR service.
- Support HR and resourcing activities to meet organisational requirements and business needs.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation.
- Contribute to the delivery of the Housing Executive's vision and values.
- Ensure a professional and responsive approach to HR service delivery.
Essential Requirements
- CIPD Level 5 qualification at Associate level.
- CIPD qualified.
- 1-5 years' relevant experience in an HR/resourcing environment.
- Intermediate level IT proficiency.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide a professional HR service.
- A professional, responsive and customer-focused approach.
Additional Information
- Access NI: Basic check required.
- Holiday Entitlement: 23 days plus 12 public holidays.
- Equipment: Laptop provided.
- Breaks: Minimum 20-minute break, which can be taken flexibly between 12:00pm and 2:00pm.
