About the Role
A leading provider within the hydraulics and fluid power sector is seeking a Mobile Van Technician to join their expanding team. Covering the South Letterkenny and North Sligo region, this is a field-based role suited to a hands-on, mechanically minded individual who enjoys working independently and directly with customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out on-site hydraulic hose replacement and repair
• Diagnose faults and provide efficient, practical solutions
• Install and maintain hydraulic systems and components
• Deliver a high standard of customer service while on-site
• Manage van stock, tools, and daily workload effectively
• Attend breakdowns and emergency call-outs when required

Requirements

• Strong mechanical aptitude (experience in hydraulics, plant fitting, mechanics, or similar)
• Full, clean driving licence is essential
• Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
• Good communication and customer-facing skills

Desirable (but not essential)

• Experience with hydraulic systems or hose assembly
• Background in construction plant, agriculture, HGV, or maintenance
