Administrator

Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm Friday 8am - 3pm

Staffline Ireland are currently recruiting on behalf of our industry leading Banbridge based client for an enthusiastic and well organised administrator.

The People Administrator is responsible for ensuring the smooth administration of People and Talent processes while maintaining accurate employee records and supporting payroll, onboarding and reporting activities. This role requires strong administration skills, experience using HR Information Systems and the ability to analyse and present workforce data.

Responsibilities:

  • Support monthly and bi-weekly payroll processes by collating, validating and submitting payroll information accurately and on time.
  • Process employee changes including starters, leavers, salary amendments, contractual changes and absence data.
  • Assist with payroll audits, maintain accurate records and resolve employee payroll queries promptly.
  • Coordinate end-to-end onboarding, including contracts, offer letters, new starter documentation and pre-employment checks.
  • Coordinate IT equipment, induction schedules and departmental notifications for new starters.
  • Support probation reviews and wider employee lifecycle processes, maintaining personnel files in line with GDPR requirements.
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS and process data changes promptly.
  • Generate HRIS reports and complete regular data audits to support data integrity and compliance.
  • Produce People KPI reports and dashboards covering headcount, turnover, absence, recruitment, onboarding and training metrics.
  • Identify workforce trends and provide accurate information to support leadership decision-making.
  • Provide general administrative support to the People and Talent team, including correspondence, policies, projects and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Act as a first point of contact for general employee and manager People queries.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of one year's experience within an HR Administrator, People Administrator or HR support role.
  • Experience supporting payroll administration activities.
  • Experience coordinating employee onboarding processes.
  • Experience producing or maintaining People-related KPI reports.
  • Experience using an HR Information System.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to analyse and present People data accurately.
  • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable Criteria

  • CIPD qualification or working towards CIPD Level 3.
  • Experience within a multi-site organisation.
  • Experience using HR reporting or dashboard tools such as Power BI.
  • Exposure to payroll systems and time and attendance systems.
  • Experience within a manufacturing, engineering or construction environment.
