HR Administrator (Part-Time, Temporary)

21 Hours Per Week | Flexible Working Pattern

Staffline Recruitment Ireland is currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Temporary HR Administrator to provide additional support within a busy People & Culture / HR team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented administrator looking to gain valuable HR experience in a supportive environment.

About the Role

Working closely with the People & Culture Officer, you will provide essential administrative support across a range of HR activities. The role offers 21 hours per week, with flexibility around the days and hours worked.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sending interview invitations, correspondence, and outcome letters to candidates.
  • Preparing offer packs, contracts, and onboarding documentation.
  • Supporting staff induction processes for new starters.
  • Updating and maintaining employee and candidate records on Sage HR.
  • Managing personnel files and ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Assisting with absence recording and other HR administration duties.
  • Responding to HR-related emails and enquiries.
  • Supporting recruitment processes and pre-employment checks.
  • General administrative support to the People & Culture team.

Essential Criteria

  • Minimum of 1 year's administration experience.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise workload.

Desirable

  • Experience within HR administration.
  • Experience using Sage HR or similar HR systems.
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or working towards.
  • Experience working within a charitable or not-for-profit organisation.
