📍 Location: Little Island, Cork
🕐 Hours: Part-time, approximately 1:00 PM - 5:00 PM
💰 Pay: €16.00 - €20.00 per hour
📅 Job Type: Part-time, on-site

We are currently recruiting for a Cleaning & Hygiene Associate to join a growing food manufacturing facility in Little Island, Cork.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, hygiene and food safety. Full training will be provided for the right candidate, so previous experience in food manufacturing is desirable but not essential.

🔹 Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising production lines, machinery and equipment in line with established procedures.
• Carrying out daily, weekly and deep-cleaning activities.
• Maintaining production areas and surrounding workspaces to a high standard of hygiene.
• Following cleaning schedules, SOPs and work instructions.
• Completing cleaning records and checklists accurately.
• Supporting hygiene verification activities, including visual inspections and swabbing programmes where required.
• Reporting any issues relating to equipment condition, hygiene or food safety.
• Handling cleaning chemicals safely and following Health & Safety procedures.
• Wearing and maintaining required PPE.
• Working closely with Production, Quality and Maintenance teams.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives relating to cleaning and hygiene standards.

• Comfortable carrying out physical cleaning duties and working on your feet for extended periods.

Previous experience in cleaning, housekeeping, hospitality, healthcare or food production is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided.
