The Role

Join our Galway team as a Recruitment Consultant and take ownership of the full recruitment journey, from winning new business and building client relationships to sourcing candidates and making successful placements.

It's a fast-paced, people-focused role where you can grow your network, hit targets and make a real impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new business opportunities and build a strong pipeline of prospective clients.
  • Work towards agreed sales, gross profit and recruitment KPIs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Identify client recruitment needs and manage vacancies from start to finish.
  • Conduct client meetings, site visits and networking activity to develop relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Support proposals and tenders and negotiate rates and fees in line with company guidelines.
  • Source, attract and talent pool suitable candidates for current and future vacancies.
  • Screen, interview and register candidates in line with recruitment requirements.
  • Prepare candidates for interviews and provide clear information on roles, clients and opportunities.
  • Provide candidates with constructive feedback and career advice throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage job offers, notice periods and terms of employment.
  • Search, shortlist and present suitable CVs to clients.
  • Maintain accurate client and candidate information on the CRM system.
  • Provide market insight to clients, including salary benchmarking, candidate availability and industry trends.
  • Ensure all recruitment activity and candidate records meet legislative, compliance and quality requirements.

What We're Looking For

  • At least 1 year of recruitment consultancy experience within the last 5 years, or 2 years of direct sales experience within a target-driven environment.
  • Proven experience developing new client relationships and maintaining existing accounts.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building and influencing skills.
  • Commercial awareness with the ability to understand client needs and identify opportunities.
  • A confident, organised and results-driven approach.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering a high-quality service.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook.
  • Junior Certificate or equivalent.
  • Full clean driving licence or access to transport, as travel is required.

Desirable

  • 2 years of recruitment consultancy experience within the last 5 years, or 3 years of direct sales experience within a target-driven environment.
  • Experience using recruitment databases or CRM systems.
  • Professional accreditation with REC, NRF or ERF.
