Our client an established business operating within the premium consumer products sector seeks to hire a Business Developer.

They will develop a premium products portfolio within the On-Trade channel, selling alcohol brands and selected soft drink products. This role would suit an experienced sales professional with On-Trade or hospitality sector experience, strong customer focus and excellent negotiation and presentation skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Actively market and promote the product portfolio within the licensed trade.
• Build strong direct and indirect route-to-market business and maintain key customer relationships.
• Achieve value and volume targets and execute promotions and visibility within the trade.
• Monitor and report on competitor and industry updates.
• Deliver high standards of credit management across the customer base.
• Build and maintain relationships with relevant sales, telesales, brand and marketing teams.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, behaviour and discipline and adhere to company policies and procedures.
• Liaise with team members and departments and complete other appropriate duties as required by management.

Essential Criteria

• Experience in the On-Trade or hospitality sector.
• Eligible to drive in the Island of Ireland with a full clean driving licence.
• Excellent relationship-building, customer focus and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness and good negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proven sales record and knowledge of the licensed trade.
